Setting of Class A Fire Door in Building

Doors and windows on the firewall shall be Class A fire doors and windows (fixed or self-closing in case of fire).

The fire elevator shaft and machine room shall be separated from the adjacent elevator shaft and machine room by a partition wall with a fire resistance limit of ≥2.0h(2.5h), and the doors on the partition wall shall be Class A fire doors.

1. The doors and windows on the firewall should be Class A fire doors and windows (fixed or self-closing in case of fire).

2. The fire elevator shaft and machine room shall be separated from the adjacent elevator shaft and machine room by a partition wall with a fire resistance limit of ≥2.0h(2.5h) or higher, and the doors on the partition wall shall be Class A fire doors.

3. The doors of the equipment room, ventilation and air conditioning room of the automatic fire extinguishing system in high-rise buildings should be Class A fire doors.

4, high-rise building fire pump room on the first floor should be through the outdoor; In other floors, it should go straight to the safety exit; The fire resistance limit of partition wall separated from other parts is 2.0h, and that of floor is 1.5h. The door should be Class A fire door.

5. The door of the room where the average weight of combustible materials stored in the basement exceeds 30kg/m should be a Class A fire door.

6. When the total construction area of the underground store is more than 20000m2, it should be separated by a firewall without windows and doors. When the adjacent areas really need to be connected locally, the doors in the fire compartment, evacuation walkway or smoke-proof stairwell and its front room should be normally open Class A fire doors that can be closed automatically in case of fire.

7. When the diesel generator room is arranged in a high-rise building and podium, it can be arranged on the first floor of the building or the first and second floors underground, and it is separated from other parts by a partition wall with a fire resistance limit of ≥2.0h and a floor slab of ≥ 1.5h. The door should be a Class A fire door. The oil storage room shall be separated by a firewall, and the doors shall be Class A fire doors (with self-closing function).

8. The substation and distribution station located in high-rise buildings should be separated from other parts by fire-resistant partition walls, floors and Class A fire doors. The door between the combustible oil-immersed transformer room and the distribution room or transformer room shall be Class A fire door.

7. When the oil-fired boiler room, oil-fired power transformer, capacitor and multi-oil switch room are permitted to be located in the building, the doors and windows on the partition wall between them and other parts of the building should be Class A fire doors and windows.

8. In any of the following circumstances, the door of the transformer room shall be a fire door:

(1) The transformer room is located in the high-rise main building;

(2) Flammables are piled up near the transformer room or lead to the garage;

(3) The transformer room is located on the second floor or higher floor of the building;

(4) The transformer room is located in or below the basement;

(5) The door from the transformer room to the distribution equipment room;

(6) The door between transformer rooms.

(Editor's Note: For the level of "fire door", the electrical section of Technical Measures stipulates that the doors of high-voltage distribution room, high-voltage capacitor room and oil-immersed transformer room with oil-filled equipment should be Class A fire doors that open outwards; The doors of low-voltage distribution room, oil-free high-voltage distribution room, dry-type transformer room, control room and duty room should not be lower than Grade B.. )

9. The volume of the liquid fuel tundish should not be greater than 1.0m3, and it should be located in a separate room with a fire resistance rating of not less than Grade II. Its door should be a Class A fire door, and the door between the daily fuel tanks of the fuel boiler room should be a Class A fire door.

10. The doors of civil air defense fire control room, fire water pump room, smoke exhaust room, fire extinguishing agent storage bottle room, power distribution room, communication room, ventilation and air conditioning room, and the doors with an average storage of combustible materials exceeding 30kg/m2 shall be Class A fire doors.

11. The front room should be set at the entrance of each fire zone of civil air defense to the smoke-proof stairwell or refuge corridor, and the door of the front room or the door of the front room shared with the fire elevator room should be Class A fire door.

12. The basic stacks and non-book databases of the library should be completely isolated from their adjacent buildings by firewalls, and the doors on the firewalls of stacks and databases should be Class A fire doors.

13. Doors and windows on the interior wall of the computer room should be Class A fire doors and windows (doors should be opened outside). (Editor's Note: This article is applicable to the computer room with the construction area of the main engine room ≥140m2)

14. In addition to the open type and sloping floor type, the multi-storey, high-rise and underground garages should be separated from the parking area by firewalls on both sides of the ramp. The entrance and exit of the ramp should be separated from the parking area by water curtain, fire shutter or Class A fire door (this restriction is not required when the garage and ramp are equipped with automatic fire extinguishing systems). (Editor's Note: Article 4.2.3 of the Detailed Rules specifies that the entrance and exit of the ramp between different fire zones should be separated from the parking area by water curtain, fire shutter or Class A fire door. )

15. The restaurant attached to the hotel building should be separated from other parts by firewall and Class A fire door.
